Trailer Management & the Law
As a general rule you are required by European and UK law to use a tachograph if you are operating a vehicle or vehicle and trailer for 'hire or reward' that has a combined plated weight of 3500Kg or above.
There are exemptions for certain categories of driver and types of activity.
Towing Law & Best Practice
Understanding the law with regards to towing trailers up to 3500kg and the effective safety management of trailers and their operatives is essential to ensure reduction of risk, insurance claims and and corporate prosecutions.
Team leaders, safety Officers, supervisors and managers who have responsibility within organisations for trailers and mobile plant together with the staff who operate them.
This is a very useful, practical, hands on trailer driving course with interactive exercises using vehicles and trailers to develop the key skills required to check, operate, manoeuvre and tow safely within the law.
On successful completion of the course an industry recognised NTTA certificate is awarded.
