Towing Caravans can be a really stressful experience. It is not
just the reversing and manoeuvring but the whole exercise of driving
on the highway to your weekend or holiday destination that can leave
you feeling on edge and exhausted. We are here to help you arrive
relaxed and ready to enjoy your time away!
Designed for:
All caravan owners including those new to caravaning or people who
want to learn how to tow their caravan safely on the road and reverse
it into those hook up places with confidence.
Summary:
This is a 'hands on' practical driving course using either your
own caravan and towing vehicle, or, if you haven't got a caravan
available you can take the training course with the Towing Solutions
trailer. Learn how to negotiate the roads and junctions without
stress.
Have fun reversing with confidence. All delegates will receive an
understanding of safe road driving and related road-craft 'best
practice'.

- " After taking the plunge and buying our first caravan
we wanted to ensure that we would feel safe and confident getting
it from A to B. We had never towed before so it was a very daunting
prospect and we were both keen to have some tuition.
Having just bought a brand new car and a 24 foot single axle caravan
we also wanted to ensure we weren’t going to crash our new
investment! We booked a 1/2 day course with Towing Solutions and
decided to have the lesson using our own caravan and car. The drive
to the lesson was somewhat scary and nerve-racking!
Our instructor was fantastic; he explained techniques and principles
in a clear and user friendly manner. Our lesson started with hitching
up and then progressed on to reversing, turning and parking –
during this time our instructor happily answered questions on safe
loading, maintenance, speed limits, snaking, braking; he was an
encyclopaedia of knowledge!"

as we grew in confidence. We had plenty of opportunity to drive
on the open road and found having our instructor sat next to us

Three hours after arriving, our drive home was an enjoyable challenge!

"I just wanted to say a big thanks to Nigel for his excellent
and informative caravan towing course. Having recently bought a
folding camper I was a complete towing novice but Nigel showed great
patience with me.
He built my confidence up during the morning, particularly in the
art of reversing as well as hitching up and general road craft.
It felt like I'd got two courses for the price of one with the on-road
defensive driving instruction.
I've now successfully completed my first trip to Scarborough and
